The four-quarter apple is the perfect cake for a snack of children or a dessert with the family.

  • 2 granny smith apples
  • a pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs
  • sugar: the same weight as eggs without their shells
  • flour: the same weight as eggs without their shells
  • melted butter: the same weight as eggs without their shells
  • optional: a little grated coconut

Preheat the oven to 200 °.

Cover the sides of the cake tin with parchment paper.

Peel the apples, then cut them into thin slices.

Place the apple slices in a rosette in the bottom of the mold.

In the bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and salt until the mixture is foamy and white.

Then add, little by little and alternately the melted butter and the flour.

Pour the dough so worked on the apples and sprinkle with a little grated coconut if you wish.

Bake for 15 minutes at 200 ° then reduce the oven to 180 °.

Continue cooking for 25 minutes.

Let cool, turn out, serve.
